Special judges, compensation
(A) Special judge, other than probate court. Any special judge assigned
to duty in the circuit court or district court pursuant to statute shall be compensated
at a rate of $100 per day.
(B) Special judge, probate court. Any special judge assigned to duty in
the probate court pursuant to statute shall be compensated at the rate of $100 per
day.
History
[Amended 9-28-87, eff. 10-1-87; Amended eff. 4-1-22.] Comment Ala.Code 1975, Section 12-1-14, provides for the establishment by rule of a rate of compensation. Note from the reporter of decisions: The order amending Rule 14, effective April 1, 2022, is published in that volume of Alabama Reporter that contains Alabama cases from __ So. 3d.
