Special Administrators

If a special administrator is appointed pursuant to AS

13.16.310–13.16.330, the appointment is effective only until a

personal representative is appointed or for a set term with

extensions granted for good cause. The order of appointment

must specifically state the powers, duties and the set term, if

any, of the special administrator.
