Promoting an Exhibition of Fighting Animals
, the defendant in this case, has been charged with the crime of promoting an exhibition of fighting animals.
To prove that the defendant committed this crime, the state must prove the following beyond a reasonable doubt:
The defendant knowingly [owned, possessed, kept, or trained an animal with intent that it be engaged in an exhibition of fighting animals] [instigated, promoted, or had a pecuniary interest in an exhibition of fighting animals] [attended an exhibition of fighting animals].
