Anonymous Phone Calls

You may only find the defendant guilty of the crime of harassment for making an anonymous telephone call if you find that the state has proved beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant made an anonymous telephone call that had no legitimate communicative purpose. A call has no legitimate communicative purpose if it contains no substantive information and the caller’s sole intention is to annoy or harass the recipient.
