Alaska Criminal Pattern Jury Instruction 11.56.757
Violation of Condition of Release
_______________________________________, the defendant in this case, has been charged with the crime of violation of condition of release.
To prove that the defendant committed this crime, the state must prove beyond a reasonable doubt each of the following elements:
(1) the defendant was [charged with] [convicted of] a crime;
(2) the defendant was released [on bail] [on his/her own recognizance];
(3) the defendant was ordered by a judicial officer, as a condition of release [INSERT ORDER DEFENDANT ALLEGEDLY VIOLATED];
(4) the defendant knowingly [INSERT ALLEGED CONDUCT]; and
(5) the defendant recklessly disregarded a substantial and unjustifiable risk that the conduct was prohibited by the order.
