Alaska Criminal Pattern Jury Instruction 11.41.300(a)(2)
Kidnapping
, the defendant in this case, has been charged with the crime of kidnapping.
To prove that the defendant committed this crime, the state must prove beyond a reasonable doubt each of the following elements:
(1) the defendant restrained another person; and
(2) [the defendant secreted and held the restrained person in a place where the restrained person was not likely to be found] [the restraint took place under circumstances that exposed the restrained person to a substantial risk of serious physical injury].
