Alaska Criminal Pattern Jury Instruction 11.41.200(a)(2)
Assault - First Degree
, the defendant in this case, has been charged with the crime of assault in the first degree.
To prove that the defendant committed this crime, the state must prove beyond a reasonable doubt each of the following elements:
(1) the defendant intended to cause serious physical injury to another person; and
(2) the defendant caused serious physical injury to any person.
