Alaska Criminal Pattern Jury Instruction 11.16.110(3)
Legal Accountability - Innocent Dupe
A defendant may be found guilty of even if the defendant personally did not commit each of the acts constituting the crime. To prove that the defendant is guilty of ______________ based in whole or in part on the conduct of some other person or persons, the state must prove beyond a reasonable doubt:
(1) the defendant caused [an innocent person] [a person who lacks criminal responsibility] to engage in the conduct constituting the crime of as defined in these instructions; and
(2) the defendant acted [insert the culpable mental state that is sufficient for the commission of the crime].
