Alaska Criminal Pattern Jury Instruction 1.55
Jury Admonition - Recess during Deliberations
If you have not reached a verdict by the end of the court day today, you will be allowed to go to your homes and are to be back in the jury room at 8:30 tomorrow morning. You are instructed that it is your duty to discuss the case only in the jury room when all [twelve] [six] jurors are present. Therefore, when you leave the jury room, you are not to converse with any person on any subject connected with the trial. Similarly, you must not see, read, or overhear any news reports or comments by anyone else about the case. You may only discuss the case and begin deliberating again when all the jurors are together in the jury room tomorrow.
