Alaska Criminal Pattern Jury Instruction 1.43A
DEFENSE OF DIMINSHED CAPACITY
When you decide whether or not the state has proved beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant (insert requisite culpable mental state(s)), you must consider all of the evidence of the defendant's state of mind, including any evidence that the defendant was suffering from a mental disease or defect at the time of the offense.
