Alaska Civil Pattern Jury Instruction 12.03A
Assault or Battery - "Touching" Defined
For purposes of these instructions, a “touching” is contact with any part of the plaintiff's body, contact with anything physically attached to the plaintiff's body, or contact with anything held by the plaintiff. A touching also includes causing an object or substance, such as water, to make contact with the plaintiff’s body.
